How often does the watch pick up the wearer’s location using GPS?

Location Update Frequency Settings

Using the Angel Watch™ app, you can control how often the watch updates its location. You may choose to:

• Fetch the location manually (on demand)
• Update automatically every 1 hour
• Update automatically every 10 minutes

These settings can be changed at any time directly from the Angel Watch™ app.

Android App Options

On Android devices, you’ll see the following location update modes:

• Sleep Mode – Manual location updates only (Default)
• Power Saving Mode – Updates every 1 hour
• Normal Mode – Updates every 10 minutes

iOS App Options

On iOS devices, the following options are available:

• Power Saving Mode – On-demand location updates (Default)
• Everyday Mode – Updates every 1 hour
• Outdoor Mode – Updates every 10 minutes

Battery Usage Considerations

More frequent location updates use more battery power. For best results:

• Use manual/on-demand updates when the watch is at home or stationary
• Switch to 10-minute updates when your child is outdoors or on the move

You can adjust these settings with a single tap at any time in the Angel Watch™ app.
