Angel Watch™ Battery Life Expectations
Angel Watch™ battery life typically lasts between 1 and 3 days, depending on usage.
Actual battery performance will vary based on:
- Feature usage
- App configuration
- Cellular network and signal strength
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth usage
- Frequency of location updates
How to Extend Battery Life (Recommended)
The most effective way to extend battery life is by adjusting the Location Update Schedule in the Angel Watch™ app.
Using on-demand or power-saving modes allows you to manually check the watch’s location when needed without constant background updates.
Android App Options:
- Sleep Mode – Manually obtain position (Default)
- *Power Saving Mode – Updates every hour
- *Normal Mode – Updates every 10 minutes
iOS App Options:
- Power Saving – On-Demand Position (Default)
- *Everyday Mode – Updates every hour
- *Outdoor Mode – Updates every 10 minutes
With on-demand modes enabled, you can still check the watch’s current location by tapping the map, but the watch will not continuously send location updates.
When to Use Frequent Updates
For geofencing or location history tracking, you’ll need to set the Location Update Schedule to refresh more frequently. Use these modes only when necessary, as more frequent updates will consume more battery.
Additional Battery-Saving Tips
- Turn off Wi-Fi when not needed
- Disable Bluetooth unless actively using it
- Limit video calls, as they are battery-intensive
These settings can be adjusted directly on the watch under Settings.
