Traveling Internationally with Angel Watch™
Yes—Angel Watch™ can be used while traveling internationally. However, because the watch functions like a smartphone, roaming charges may apply unless they are included in your cellular plan.
Many U.S. carriers treat Canada and Mexico as part of North America, meaning roaming charges may not apply. Please confirm international coverage details directly with your carrier before traveling.
Using a Local SIM Card While Abroad
If roaming is not included in your plan, you may use a local SIM card at your destination. As long as the SIM card provides sufficient voice minutes and mobile data, the watch should function normally.
Important:
Your Angel Watch™ app region and watch region must always match, even when traveling.
- For example, if you purchased a North America watch, your Angel Watch™ app account must remain set to North America.
- Do not change the app region, even if you insert a foreign SIM card.
Phone Number Formatting Recommendation
When traveling internationally, we recommend saving U.S. phone numbers in international format to ensure proper call routing:
